NYRoxytheatres.com is dedicated to chronicling the history of not only Samuel "Roxy" Rothaphel, but also the theatres he managed and built. The NY Roxy and Radio City Music Hall will be the focus, but we will document other theatres that he managed over his short life. Roxy set the standard for motion picture presentation throughout the 1910's, 1920's and 1930's.
